Princess Theradras!
Is she not the ugliest thing you have ever seen? Is she some long lost cousin to Cuato?
And what is with the fart attack? OMG what was blizzard thinking when they created this boss? To each their own, I guess.
We started out in Maraudon with a party of five (not the tv show). There was Hopeless (that’s me!), Bronog and Findre, of course. We then supplemented our ranks with two awesome shado priests: Mihf and Preecher. We set a break-neck pace down the purple side. We never wiped and handled every pull with the greatest of ease. I was pleasantly surprised how easy it was with a nonconventional group of level 47s (we did have a few ding 48 while in there). Bosses and encounters I remember being more difficult. It was a good time.
After the purple side was completed Preecher took off and Mihf stuck with us long enough to complete a quest outside the dungeon. The three of us decided to run the orange side. I really wanted to get the rod quest done. At the same time hoping his spirit hadn’t despawned while we worked our way their. We had some tough spots where we had no way to easily hand AoE pulls, but we made it through them with Bronog and I chain trapping together to slow em down. Other pulls where we had 4 or 5 mobs to deal with we would each chain trap one of the elites while we dps’ed down the others. It was a blast. Only one spot where we almost wiped (I say almost cause I didn’t die :)). Bob pulled an extra group and it was too much for us. Gotta love feign death! We down all the bosses on the orange side and start talking about how we hope he is still there and what did we find…
His spirit had despawned.
But it was replaced with brand new shiny boss. Instead of him being gone and having to reset the instance he reset himself. We had to kill him again, but that was ok! Bob lost his life, again, but that was OK! We got to complete all of our quests for that place in one night. Not bad if you ask me.
I did get a new bow from one of the quests. It’s not up to BC standards but it will do for now.
Meanwhile, I successfully leveled Tearless to 48 to catch up with me. Now I have to get my nameless ape to catch up.
